What are the advantages and disadvantages of buying backlinks for your website?

Ok, so firstly let’s address the main issue involved with “buying backlinks”… It’s against Google’s “guidelines”… which also states that any link that is created to in turn manipulate a sites rankings is also against their policy…. That’s 90% of the web!

Instead, I propose that you “outsource the process of backlink creation” to an agency, which really isn’t against guidelines at all!

Advantages

Acquire high quality back-links (depends on where you purchase from)
Know exactly what you’re getting/paying for
Have control over anchor text profile and the website it’s placed on

Disadvantages

Depending on the provider you purchase off, the quality can vary immensely, which is a serious disadvantage! Therefore, choose a specialist link-building SEO company (shown further below)
If a bad job is done, it can leave footprints for Google to track and potentially penalize your website.

Some also say that if your content is good enough, you’ll earn these backlinks naturally, and that I can tell you is generally not true!

Because articles on page 5 don’t get read, why? because they are on page 5! So your content may be FANTASTIC, but simply no-one is seeing it.

So there’s the catch 22.

Therefore, I would suggest ‘outsourcing the job of backlink creation’ to someone else, or even better, an experienced entity. This means that you can have this job completed by someone who is experienced and knows exactly what kind of backlinks your website needs.
