Video marketing will ROCK the internet this year.
What you’ll need to do is this:
- Create emotions
To be successful, your video needs to inspire people. Inspiration, or in other words, creating an emotional connection, is tricky, but it’s what makes a video great. A video needs a story behind it, something that elicits feelings, prompts or motivates your viewers. Emotions also create reactions from viewers: people who feel inspired almost always react to your videos. Whether it’s a share, a like or a comment on social media, they are the secret to a successful video.
2. Focus on the intro
Video is all about first impressions. The first 10 seconds of any video say A LOT about your video and what it has to offer. Putting all your eggs in the first 10 seconds of a video may sound risky, but it’s a successful strategy
3. Get rid of losers
Ever noticed that your campaigns get chocked by low performers? This happens in video marketing as well. You’ll have some good videos, with thousands of views and social media interactions, but also some that lag far behind. Most of the time, you can’t exactly pinpoint why a video performs so poorly or why it’s a complete fail. Unfortunately, there’s only one thing to do: get rid of it as soon as possible. There’s no way you’ll resurrect it and it will only choke your video campaign in the future.
